That's good to hear. I'll probably go with it for now then unless I find a good deal on a bia rear. Thanks C4. I know where you can get a 7 1/4 real cheap. just have to switch it over to coils.

We run 7.5's pretty regularly. Have bent a few axles, but have never broken one, and have never bent a tube....knock on wood.

Hoping I've done enough along with some good bumper positioning for her to go up... Any advice is welcomed. (part or all of the back hatch will be going on, just haven't got there yet) How did this hold up I have one as clean if not cleaner running in april

this is how I did my back end it has a heavy dimple where the trunk lid goes down to the floor and a second lighter one straight down from were the roof comes down to the body. I also double prebent at both dimples. I haven't used the ass end yet in 3 derbies so it still looks the same as it does in the fresh pic

Will an 8.8 from a Vic bolt in without mods? How much wider would it be?

I have it all here. Just hoping someone new off the top of their head. Looking to get away from the 2.73's in my t-bird on a tight budget.

Went out & measured today. The Vic rear is only an inch wider backing plate to backing plate, but about 4 inches wider overall.

Went out & measured today. The Vic rear is only an inch wider backing plate to backing plate, but about 4 inches wider overall. So with some rigging you could get a Vic rear to fit nicely or would it be a little to over kill?

Wouldn't take much rigging. Just some fwd rims to give I little offset.
