Currently looking into looping these lines by just rubber hose and clamps which I personally don't like the idea of. But my main question is what type of rubber hose line should be used here?
Also any other ideas and tips on what to do in this situation besides through radiator or through tranny cooler would be great. Thanks!

Get a steel line made and loop it with that. Should be able to have one made cheap enough.

autozone carries the 5/16 steel trans line with 1/2 inch fitting in many lengths, i use a 4 footer and loop it twice, works fine, no trans issues after 7 runs and features that lasted 30-45 minutes cost 7 dollars

Wear a fire suit and have an escape plan - not trying to scare you, but this isn't something I would skimp on - hydraulic lines with fittings is all I would do, but many people I know have looped and only 1 almost got fried! Just my opinion.

you will also be replacing a lot of trannys due to burning them up. Invest in a good tranny cooler and you will be very happy

Only a few that allow them, most rules are pretty cut and dry. But I'm sure someday in the future I'll throw some money toward one.

My bro and I have looped tranny lines with rubber gas line and only lost 3 trannys in 12 plus years of derbying. The trannys have had 30-45 minutes of run time on them at a time and they still work fine

Please do not use fuel line!!! Its called fuel line for a reason. Looping lines is an old school quick trick but always use oil/tranny cooler line. Even better, use metal line like mentioned above for about 5 bucks. Use a cheap cooler if allowed for about 20 bucks.

If you loop them don't leave them where they can get kinked, look at where your car is going to bend and make sure the steel lines won't get pinched off or caught on something you drive over. Don't use fuel line as trans fluid will eat it up (I know from experience, it takes a yr or so but it isn't worth the chance to dump all your fluid).
Something I have had great luck with but I haven't seen posted yet is to change the filter and add fresh fluid before you run it. This will make a ton of difference on how your trans reacts to the punishment of a demo...

Would the higher pressure fuel injection hose work?

Would the higher pressure fuel injection hose work? NO! Line pressure can be all the way up to 200psi. Fuel rated hose isn't rated for trans fluid and most hose will degrade, and it has to work at high temps that most fuel hose isn't rated to.

Most part stores sell bulk/loose rubber tranny line on a spool...get the stuff that's rated for it (the type of fluid), cost of hose versus fires and burns pays for itself.

If you can't use a tranny cooler,a compression fitting between the two lines will work,or buy a pice of brake line same size then you don't have to worry about line leaking. We have done it both ways in the past at derbys that don't allow a tranny cooler.
