I have only worked on trucks that have intercoolers(never touched a car with one) but it seems to me you would have one hell of a time adapting the trans lines to that without a tig welder to make new trans line connections.

Plausible but extremely unpractical. But Stromi, is that really any different than half the crap that gets ran today? I.E. Transmissions that have heavier cages than the tigers at the zoo.

what kind of hydraulic fitting are you guys using to connect to the trans cooler. are you threading the part on the trans cooler? or using a quick connect fitting?

Any thoughts on redoing this ac to use for trans Cooler ? Tubes are copper btw.

while searching for a way to keep a transmission even cooler i came across this pan made by derale. they make pans for nearly any transmission with all these cooling tubes that pass through near the bottom. they have drain plugs too. has anyone tried these or what do you think? only good on the highway? thoughts? derale.com
