How hard would it be to tuck a 86 Volvo 240 trunk? I hear there super tough steel, picking up the car this afternoon. Any input?

Easiest way I've found is take off trunk lid and lay it on ground upside down. Beat a line across the inner side then just fold it and beat a nice squared edge on the outside.

Rarely have to use a sledge. Heavy chain and a floor jack will dish it just fine

need some opinions. lets say you've got 8 hrs to prepare a trunk for a compact what is the best way to do it. with limited welding, allowed to use 4 pieces up to 3/4" all thread, and a window bar, allowed to canoe it. how would you guys prepare it?

Might be a dead topic but is it better to fold the trunk in where the license plate is when you canoe a trunk or would it be better to leave it upright and try to crush everything.

Really depends on what kind of car and your rules. Ive done it and seen it done many different ways, most with similar outcomes. The amount you are allowed to weld and what you are allowed to weld to makes a big difference on how to go about it.
