Nice looking car... Atlease bound the sheet metal in behind the front tires and the seam going up the firewall so you can steer if tires start rubbing.... good luck

Curious why the massive front tires? The build looks good. I think the picture make them look bigger than they are they are just 700-15s on a 7 inch wide rim

Going Ole skool then I know the ford's all now days say stay 25 inch tall but I remember all our buddies running straight tread 7.00s back in early 2000s. Just goes up locks tires but you got plenty of height with them.

Height is 26 1/2 so I'm hoping I'm not to tall but I've got my frame tilted to where the pressure should be just right we will see Saturday I guess

Anyone else run 700-15 steer tires? I’ve heard they are “too tall” for the car and should stick to trailer tires. Looking for feedback!

I used to run 700-15s for height but once the car starts to nose the tires push back into the fender/firewall area and you're toast. I switched to 14.5 trailer tires and it allows it to bend a lot more

My thing about trailer tires if 14.5s you got to weld in full centers and I run stock style shows so it's hard on ball joints with no give to rim. Plenty of 25 inch tall tires out there from 12inch rims to 15 inch rims.

What steel hoods will fit on the Lincoln's? 70s ford. Never measured a box Lincoln to fit but I would say they should fit decent.

Probably at least as heavy as a box hood too.

Can anyone point me in the right direction with creasing on these cars or tell me if it’s a bad idea? Cant have hump plates or leaf spring conversion I just don’t know if it’ll be too hard if I dip the trunk lid 6 inches and three creases on the quarters.

I would crease. , but crease it to roll and pack in. Two dimple each frame rail... Here is one I ran multiple times humps never bent.

I've read through a bunch of this and can't find what I'm looking for. I'm having a hard time keeping my rear end centered or towards the front of the humps without having a resiculously high pinion angle. We aren't allowed to shorten trailing arms.
