They are taller, wider, and overall straighter. They have gussets all over the frame in the front, the humps, and some other noticeably goodies. Go for a p71, but dont pay more for one.

You will more than likely need to redo the rear control arms. That is the biggest must do things on these styles of cars. I believe ztr makes brackets for that or you could make your own. Should be easy enough. In the future we might make them too. Hope that helps.

hard nose 6 inches, loaded bumper( concrete works as a cheap filler),cut the flap and pitch at the crush box 1/2 inch, weld some "washers" really just reinforcements to the body mount holes in the crush box 1/4 to 3/8 thick. plate right behind the spring bucket make it look like rust damage and make it look as obvious as possible. re-weld all stock seams top and bottom they are never welded right. add kickers if you are aloud to right behind upper a arm. replace upper a-arms and spindles with 80s style dump the cast ones. replace shocks with inch all thread, cut stopper out of upper 80s a-arm lift the front wheels off the ground and weld a-arms to spring bucket. reinforce your tie rods. a good distributor protector helps out with keeping the front down for a while longer and protects the dis. as for the rear just dimple the frame 8 inches in from rear body mount. biggest thing is plate the humps as much as you can and change the watts just trailing arms out for the ztr adapters you can find them on wecrash or just make your own stock 80s bumper ok for the rear just weld it on good especially the front bumper. try to get a square body or 05 and up body if you can stronger bodies than the first and second gen bubble bodies. other than that if you can find other ways to plate the front end with in your rules do it. best advice use the rear for the heats and use the front or " business end" for the feature. good luck!

Forget the ZTR adapters, dont get me wrong they work well. But it is easier and faster to put a package trey from a pre 98.

What makes an 05+ body better than a 90s bubble body?
