Trying to clear out the engine bay. Is the heater core assembly on the fire wall plumbed with unusually thick hose? I’m guessing the trans cooler is integrated into the radiator? Is there a manual brake cylinder so I can dump all the abs garbage? I’m going to make a simplified harness so I can move the engine to different cars...is there any specific junk I can dump in the engine bay, it’s so cluttered and I’m not super familiar with this motor. Which engine?.. Trans lines are typically piped into radiator, but can be re routed into cooler or looped if you want. Theres misc hoses, wires that can be removed or shortened. The normal things also, air box, ac lines, washer fluid tank etc

3100. I just thought it was weird how heavy duty the lines to the heater core looked. How long will the trans run looped? I’m going back and forth between looping them or running a trans cooler, doing enduro, so 75 laps is the goal. Also what tires are people running? I’m thinking of going with a 23 skidsteer

Looping the hoses would get you by in a pinch, but running a 75 lap enduro You would def wanna run a cooler instead.

ABS & Brakes. I go with a 1990 Lumina master cyl with no ABS. Picked up from Rock Auto.

Yeah, if there's no rear wheelers allowed, I'd call it #3 at 106 or #2 at 105. Depending on rules, I'd probably slide an Accord or Prelude in above them too.

Does the luminaries MC eliminate the booster as well? Bolts in just fine? That’d be awfully convienent. I may plumb the cooler to the heater core area

Does anyone know for sure if the 3.1/3100 headers will fit a gm 2.8l MPFI? I was told that they would fit and then I was told that the port holes line up but the bolt holes don't line up correctly.

Bought a set of jeffys fab farm headers for a 3100 that's in my olds cutlass ciera sl. What's the simplest way to install them? I've never put headers on a v6 and I see that the front motor mount runs down and over the factory manifold. Does that have to be removed in order to remove the factory manifold or can it be done without doing that?

Cutlass is an A body car so motor mounts are totally different...header will have to be fabbed most likely to an offset. Motor mount has to be removed to install the headers. But used at the same time...if you don’t use it motor will just flop back and fourth replace with some steel box tubing or pipe would be better in place of stock aluminum.... I would just run the stock mainifolds cut the pipe going past the firewall if you can’t get you’re situation figured out... good luck.

Also pretty sure many guys on here have fabbed them up too as well. I usually make my own motor mounts anyways so I should be able to make it work. Thanks for the info.
