seam weld the shock towers, had those pull apart on the last one i ran, spot welds from factory were really far apart. an extra 10 - 1/2" welds would have been all it needed Seam weld them where?

You have to do something with the back, it will dump hard if you don't. I like the idea of sedagon and tie roof quarters above rear wheels. What do your rules say about fastening roof to quarters and/or floor?

personally not a big fan of this platform. Never had any luck with them. I have found however if you hit one hard enough in the rear they shut down and won't refire any one have any idea as to why.

I've seen it done both ways with a fuel cell and without. I thought the same thing at first maybe something to do with fuel. What made me realize it wasn't was I had it happen to me. Ran a 93 buick century stock tank never received a hard shot to the front. Made one good track shit with the rear and the car shut down and wouldn't start back. Still had fuel and fuel psi after never could get it to fire even off either. Has to have something to do with either timing or spark is all I can think of.

The one I ran was fuel injected not carbed. Yes the dash was left in.

Could be the case I suppose. I have a 89 pontiac 6000 that I've just had sitting waiting for me to run it. But with everyone of the past few I've seen run just shut off it had me a little worried. Maybe this one being carbed and a distrubutor would be different.
