Put a tube on the front, before I hear any hate cannot frame shorten with my rules so I had to leave the crush boxes. I will plate them before I'm done. Also could not weld suspension to gain any ride height so I increased my puck size from sub frame to unibody to 2 bottom of bumper sits at 18 1/4" now

We are allowed to shorten our front frames, but I still plan to keep it long run the car, then if it bends at the crushbox....cut them off and the front will be straight to run again.

There are few people who have done this to a taurus and even fewer who are willing to share all the info to everyone else.

Drew Hall from HCM can weld the 3.0 aluminium intakes. TFI distributors will work unless you want to get creative with the 74 to 79 2.8 v6 distributors.

Hey guys. Looks like nobody has been on this thread in a while. Guess everyone is on fb nowadays. Got a 91 taurus wagon. Only my 3rd time so I don’t know much. I like the long skinny pedal and using the rear and tearing stuff up. Stock rules. No prebending, although I’m gonna beat the spare tire well up. Should I leave the rear bumper shocks on? Didn’t know if they would make it plow more, or help it go up. What about the rear sway bar? Leave it on or take it off? Looks like something else to poke a tire to me. Also I saw someone talking about Volvo wheels. I got the factory 14”. Are the Volvo wheels that much stronger? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

It's not that the Volvo wheels are any stronger or weaker, but they do fit if you want 14's but don't have them. They also give the car a wider stance, which has its pros and cons.

Firing problem on 1992 sable with a 3.8 that has been preran. I have 12 volts at the coil but cant get spark to the distributor. Checked pickup coil, and changed the ignition module, could it be the constant control relay box? Does this have to be grounded?. I moved it towards the firewall. The car has been ran 1 other time.
NEED HELP

Was just wondering Im looking to build a 2001 Ford Taurus and didn't know if I can take the whole dash out including the cluster, radio etc. Without setting the car into security limp mode and For a 3.0l motor ive gotta run a high flow inline pump right...

Yes, you will need a hi pressure inline pump or a fuel cell with an aftermarket pump or the stock pump itself installed in the cell. Welcome to Wecrash 😎
