I am ready to mount my rear bumper. It is a pro stock car. The only one I have is a shortened and seam welded steel vic bumper. I shortened it a couple years ago because the ends were all bent out of shape. It now only goes past the frame rails an inch or two. Should it be longer? How far outside the frame rails do you prefer?

Vics arent picky.. make sure you make the first hits square to get the rails doing there thing and dont worry about it after that I dont ever shorten them that narrow but really not a bad idea because I've been hung up with my back bumper on someone else's sheet metal and have taken some nasty free shots by people so really it'll be just fine.
