I don't have one in front of me currently, but believe 6.5" is factory, 6" would be a 1/2" short. Next time in welding I will try to grab a dimension to verify

Landshark007 I’d appreciate it. Any help would be great. Just getting into heavier builds and was kinda stumped as to which one bell it actually was!

Just an FYI. If your planning on locking the transmission, I wouldn’t, the bell is only held in by the pump bolts. I’d get an aftermarket case. Didn’t know how much more of a heavier build you were talking about. 😎

Just measured a Keyser Manufacturing 1/2" short bell, total height of bell from where it would bolt to midplate to where it would bolt to tranny (outside to outside) looked to be about 6-1/4"
