Alright guys since we like build threads thought I'd share some pics of the build as I build this gut n go. It's a chevy venture van with 3400 engine.
This is a floating 4 point cage with a halo. Chain/wire hood and doors.
Tips are welcome!

I starting with gutting the back first. Pulled all wiring to the back of the seats (no cutting just unpluging)

So this van has rear heat and ac. I've been told I need to loop the heater lines under the van so I won't lose the water.

Is that a upside down Lincoln Mercury. Pulled frame and it was rusty so gonna load body with scrap and get rid of it since I bought a lincoln to replace it.

save some time and unplug the front door wiring harness in the pillar with this plug then you can just leave it or pull it out. Both sides got one. Had help today to cut the windshield out so now all are out so I can mount wiring and ecm. Don't mind my pile of scrap its 4 cars worth of stripping needs to be hauled in.

Update stock tank is way to long to fit in the back safely. So will be cutting the top out of the plastic tank to mount in a steel boat tank

If you're headers aren't cherry red by the end of the night then you didn't try/hit hard enough,

Sadly this run it won't have them but I'm going to put a pipe in to get it out away from any brake lines or so under car. Thinking a turnout to passenger side about 6 inchs under away from edge of van so it can't get hit. These vans aren't quite made for headers with the cowl they got.
