This class is what it says it is, Gut and go. These rules are designed to be an easier, faster, and cheaper build. If you have any questions regarding building a car for this class, if it does not mention it in these rules then it is not something that you can do. These rules tell you everything that you are allowed to do.
Cars must be 108-inch wheelbase or less. Front wheel drive cars ONLY allowed in this class. No rear-wheel drive cars will be allowed in this class.
NO carb swaps allowed. No headers allowed. No engine protection allowed.
BUMPERS must remain stock that came with the car and unaltered. No welding or reinforcing. No stuffing unibodies, we will be scoping them. You will be allowed 2 strands of wire from bumper to core support so help hold on bumper but neither of these can be in front of the radiator. You will have to open hood for inspection. If your car came with a plastic bumper you may swap it out with a different compact car bumper, but it must be bolted on identical as the stock one. No bumpers from a full frame mini car. It must be an OEM thin bumper like what comes off front wheel drive mini cars.
DOORS HOODS AND TRUNKS may be chained, wired, or duct taped to hold shut only. For hood and trunk opening, you will be allowed 4 spots where you can wire or chain. Driver and Passenger door must be secured from opening. You may use a piece of wire or chain wrapped around the door post or you may weld driver door 5 on 5 off only on top, bottom, and rear seam. You cannot weld on front seam to fender. No metal added when doing this. Only a filler may be added to weld shut. Same applies to passenger door if you have a passenger. This is sorely only for driver and rider safety. You can have a maximum of a 4-point cage that does not extend more than 12 inches behind the front seat. You may have a fuel tank protector but can only be as wide as the fuel cell and not door to door. You may have a halo bar but cannot run down to floor. Simply must be bolted or welded to your 4-point cage.
Fuel tank under car must be removed and replaced with a metal tank in rear seat area. You may use the original tank with fuel pump, but it must be secured in the rear seat area.
SUSPENSION must remain completely stock. No reinforcing of any type
Tires must be DOT tires only, inner tubes will be allowed, must be filled with air only. No ag tires, forklift tires, etc.
All glass must be removed. For safety only you should have wire or chain for front window opening protection. No welding. Wire or chain only. You are only allowed one.
