Hello All, been years (mid 90's) I guess really decades since I have been involved in any demo's and things have changed quite a bit. Would there be any interest in foam inserts to go inside the tires for demo cars? I make some for racing UTV's and quads. Not sure if this is something that would be of any interest. Any feedback appreciated. I added a picture for reference. UTV_26x9x14_480x480.webp (16.15 KB)

Got ya well not sure how to make that work but if you look at www.tire-spine.com you can see what it is. But its basically a high density foam insert for tires that if you get a puncture they don't go flat. We do a lot of UTV and ATV racing but hoping it would be something for demo guys.

These add about 5-6 lbs per tire. Does that seem too much? I have seen foam filled tires that probably have about 20lbs extra weight per tire but what I make is pretty lightweight.

Think my major concern is can they support the weight. Each tire on a heavy weld mod car would need to support somewhere around 2500#

Each tire on a heavy weld mod car would need to support somewhere around 2500# very valid concern, we have tested these on ultra 4 race cars and they held up very well. Typical Ultra 4 cars weigh in the 4000+ lbs range. Of course they did start wearing down a bit faster and they would have to change them out mid season but they log in some fast miles so lot more friction. Normally they will last a whole race season if not more.

Just a suggestion but maybe sponsor one of us a set of tires and give it real test run before getting to deep into selling a bunch and then you can adjust to the outcome

He was a UTV racer so that is what he put all of his focus on. I will be looking for some around the Effingham Illinois area to work with. There are a few derby's coming up that I would love to have these in.
