I tried searching, but couldn't really find anything. Buddy found a stash with a bunch of 70s AMC cars, would they be ok in a 1 and done fast paced show(namely the frank the tank class at bash)? There are a few clean ambassador sedans and a wagon, and I've never seen any run or hear anything about them.
There are also some hornets, a couple junk spirits and an eagle wagon.

Ran a late 70's matador wagon(coil spring)back around 1986 or 87. I will never run another in bone stock form.Rear body peeled off the frame and the rear tailgate ended up right against the driver seat. I did end up 4th but had no choice to pull the flag for my own safety.
Personally I would pass unless you can build the $hit out of 1.

Hornets should be 108" wheelbase. Good for a compact show.

Hornets should be 108" wheelbase. Good for a compact show. Sorry, I knew they were compacts just meant there are like 4-5 ambassador sedans and a wagon and some hornets that were all clean. There's a spirit or two but think he said they were rotten, and an eagle wagon.

Hornets are indeed 108" and do indeed make decent compact cars. I can't speak to the Ambassadors, but we have a Matador that has been sitting here half built for awhile. From the firewall, except for Pacer, it is quite similar to the compact AMC's, but longer. It is like Gremlin, Spirit, Hornet, Eagle & Concord. Pacer is a completely different animal. When it comes to the flag ship, Ambassador, I know nothing.
