If it wasn't a little banged up and have rust holes I would maybe vote for clear but I think I would want to fix that stuff which would make doing clear not really an option at that point.

restore the lrt logo than clear coat it. it adds character

Did you pick up the grille I sent you? And i haven't made it to look at the other lil red express yet. Not sure if the lil red express the yard had has title or not for cab. Car show/swap meet tomorrow in st.charles missouri 8am to 2pm if you want to make a trip over for possible parts.

Pretty sure this one is 1979 by the head lights being stacked. 1978 was a bigger single head light.

The cab will swap no problem. mount points are exactly the same. the 88 body lines will line up perfect with the 79 doors. Interior should swap in no problems. The rear roof line differs slightly but thats all. If you don't need the whole roof just over the front windshield it is the same. |
