im running a 1960 f 250 4wd has a divorce transfer case in it ill be running a th400 trans 2wd, should i direct drive shaft that to the rear diff? or should i keep the divorce case in the center?

Remove tcase and run straight to the dif

if im going to run a square slipping driveshaft how do i keep the drive shaft in the transmission?

Most turbo 400's have a tapped tail shaft. Bolt a yoke or flat flange for slider. No bolt hole, drill & tap .
