Run your plug wires down the backside of the block/bellhousing and below the header. Gonna keep burning plug wires like that. Once you have them hooked up, zip tie the set together and you'll never have to worry about crossing plugs again.

Straight up and down, no farther forward than front door seam and no farther back than body mount at rear seat.

One other quick thing, how important is power steering with the stock box. I've heard both ways. I think they need it. Have seen them work with out but 8 out of 10 they don't. Also make sure steering slides good. Doesn't take much pressure on the input shaft to take front seal out and have it fail... Good luck

Gonna be a photo finish, nothing has gone right on this turd. First my shifter wouldn't work with the trans, then I kept throwing v belts. I think I have that done now just a lot of little things to do. Worst case scenario it will run as is.
