Sbc 355 need help ok what cam/heads

I put my sbc 350 motor in the shop and I’m getting .30 bored over 10:1 compression and I’m going flat top pistons what cam should I use ? What am I forgetting ? I’m also gonna u se 062 vortec heads gonna get them redone and Freshened up what am I missing forgetting ?!!

I'd use dish pistons with the 062 heads. Small chamber heads i'd say dish. Large chamber heads flat. I think 062 are 63cc if i remember right.

I'd stay in a RV cam area maybe a step up or 2... What gears you running behind it and auto or stick??

Baldwin will tell him that cam also if he calls on building a stocker engine through them. Just everyone seems to them you need this wild ass cam that lopes hard.

I'm all for a lopey cam but if you dont have the pistons or heads to move the air that cam wants to move it is doing more harm than good for sure it all has to work together to be effective

I went with summit heads, 72cc Chambers 2.02/1.6 valves,comp xe274 cam, Edelbrock intake and a 670 truck avenger. All that bolted to a stock 100k mile shortblock🤘🤘🤘

I got some camel jump heads 202 gonna get them done up so hopefully they can run good with my block

I just picked up a 350. It is 30 over. Flat tops. It has the 186 camel hump heads with the small valves and chambers. Holly street dominator intake(300-28z). I am going to port the and bowl blend the heads my self. Suggestions on cam? Intake or use the Holly? Carb?

Used Comp 268 in a 355 with world heads and in a 305 with stock heads and both run pretty well

or I have used in a standard 350 with world heads a Voodoo 262/268 dual duration cam that runs very smooth and would probably use in next build again
