What is the best or let’s say the hardest fords that you prefer to build to weld type rules (not kicker style rules ) rules right before them. I’m trying to figure out which car I want to build first. Any suggestions will be great

For limited weld to mod 98-02’s are generally the choice but this is a very subjective question without knowing rules and you have to know what to do and actually carry out the build weld to get the performance out of any car

98-02 or the early style bubble lincoln. 98-02 have straighter and physically bigger horns, I think bubble lincoln has better sheet metal. I have never been a fan of the rear post shape on the newer style bubble lincoln, but I am overly picky. With a full bracket they will have a tendency to dump in the spring pocket or directly behind it, or push back the box/collapse it and kink the side rail. Good transmission crossmember placement and pressure when putting the cradle and transmission brace in is key. Glad to help out with any other questions!

We prefer 80s model fords or lincoln's. We just have better luck with them over newer styles and from our experience they've held up better. But thats just from our experience. If its your first ever car go with what you feel more comfortable with building and go have fun. Then take what you learned from that build and build another with what you learned works and don't do what didn't work and try something else.
