For the class I’m running we get 4 4x4 3/8 plates and our allowed to put them anywhere on the frame was wondering what the best spots would be

Allowed to hard nose up front no cradles stock motor mounts stock bumper seam welded

I would have 1 of my pairs of plates in front of the engine crossmember where the frame likes to buckle and one 1 pair on the S curve.

If dean means where I think I agree. One in front of engine crossmember, maybe even diamond it there in the corner, and then on the front s curve, keep those horns intact. You can use pressure to help at the firewall and that’s a much nicer and easier fix.

I was thinking same and pressure to rails together while you weld the bumper on.

Can be done by welding cage in euth frame under pressure when putting in down tubings. That's what I do.
