Fart can escape two butt cheeks, a pair of underwear, and a pair of jeans do you think a mask is going to help us out?

Gases are much smaller than water droplets, so I'm going to say yes, there is a good chance of it.

No chance CDC has already said there is no proof a mask helps. 🤷♂️ its monkey see monkey do.

My neighbor is the one who told me about the farts. It all depends on what website you look at. There are websites out there that say masks work and websites out there that say masks don’t work. A scared population is a controlled population. I don’t wear a mask because I want too keep what little freedoms I have and I also have asthma.

When it comes to masks it is interesting to look and realize the majority of articles before April 2020 are generally in the camp of masks are meh. Im not taking a side, but it is something to look at being is how political every little thing is. www.medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/infectioncontrol/16278

That article I posted is from 2009, way before Covid had come to be. Pick a date from 2019 or earlier and generally every article Ive seen basically is "meh" over surgical masks. March/April 2020 articles are generally anti masks and then May to today is 100% masks are great.

I’m a coal miner. Crazy to think I have to wear a mask at my job and still am able to breath coal particles bigger than the virus straight through it. If masks make you feel better then wear them. I’m not going to seeing the reports over the years of the numbers of black lung disease even while masked up. We do yearly evaluations on our lungs. I’m worse every year. But keep sticking that over your face to feel the safety.

Im not looking for a fight, but if the CDC and other professionals were lying through their teeth in March/April,no matter the motive, then it shouldn't be a surprise that there is a lot of skepticism currently.
Now a bone I do have is that I did have to fly a couple months back and they wouldnt allow me to wear an N95 respirator and that there is proof it would protect me.

^As a former miner myself I would all but bet he is wearing N95 respirator and not something like a surgical mask.

. I could only wear a surgical mask or bandana. They wont allow N95 respirators because they "dont protect others"

^They are 95% effective as the 95 in N95 implies. Its one of my huge pet peeve when I see a chart shared on FB of where that lists N95s as anything but 95%

I'm proud guys. Well into page 2 and we managed to stay pretty civil. Maybe a little bit of holiday cheer?

We wear N95. The sizing of dust that is getting thru is what you would be breathing anyways. It’s the small particles that do the damage not bigger material.

I've spent the past 10 years underground mining frac sand with no respirator either. You only get one life, live it how you want. You choose to wear them I choose to not. Yet we're both healthy and both living our lives how we choose. Happy holidays y'all!
