Did anyone go to it? how many cars did they get? 1st time in over 20 plus yrs. that i didnt go.

Did anyone go to it? how many cars did they get? 1st time in over 20 plus yrs. that i didnt go. Had all intentions of going and running for the first time. just could not do that to a old buddie/JB . Was told around 80 cars showed up but mostly were compacts/trucks/vans. 6 fullsize is not good but.. |

They probably ought to consider begging the old promotor to come back, there was 6 cars in full size which lasted about 7 minutes. What did the old promoter do better? The full size car quality was absolutely not what it has been in past years, I can think of at least a few that had cars built to these rules that left them in the garage due to the last minute promotor change. Secondly the event did not run as smoothly as it has in the past, not enough officials for that huge track, no siren for red flags ect. |

Shook hands with every driver before entering the pit. Not being a dick or disrespecting fairderby either, but that alone won my respect yrs ago. |

Bout what I figured then. I heard that old promoter got pissed at fairboard and quit. Dont know how much truth there is to that though.It wont get any better next year if fair derby is still there.jmo
