yup they are actually a decent 80s and up car if you know what your doing, they are clean, and you are able to build them a certain way. The frame stuff being talked about is only in the full size pre 77 stuff....

yes, both sides are slightly thicker metal. The "diamond" is actually a triangle. It's found near the horns. The same question comes of "antibelly" bars. Some cars yes, some no. I'm curious as to why it came to be? Maybe experimenting crash testing? This is not true. The Diamond frame has a diamond hole. The triangle is a different frame all together. There is also a 4 leaf clover frame stamp on Pontiacs π

All of the ones I've owned and seen are in the same location. Front frame horns on the inside. If the core support is still in you many have trouble seeing it. I seen another stamp the other day on a 72 Bonneville. It was just a square. Might not mean anything but I've never seen one before. I didn't measure it but I will.

Ive only ever seen the diamond on a 75-76 impala. Didn't measure the difference in thickness. But definitely had the diamond hile on the front horns.

Maybe ask them where to look and get back to us? Is it the gold colored 4 dr on FB right now? Check on the engine side of the frame by the core support.
