Which end goes to transmission and which ends goes to rear end? I was told by a driver with a lot of trophys that I should put the smaller slide end to the end of transmission. He said less weight on tail shaft. But I have seen a lot of people do it the other way. Any thoughts?

small towards trans, more room to tunnel than if the tube end was front

I feel that the rear end has more of a chance of jumping around and changing angles then the transmission does so i'd prefer to have the stationary end on the rear end and have the slide on the trans since that is the side which will most likely push back.

I was always told with decent HP engine your more chances of twisting the driveshaft is if you put the tube to the transmission. So always put the slider section to the transmission.
