I was hooking up my power steering today and was wondering what would happen if you hooked up the lines in reverse. Would the steering work? Would you ruin the pump or gear box? Blow a line?

I did this last year by accident because I went from a Jeep pump to a Vic box... not a fun experience... I didn’t blow any lines, but the steering will then starting turning left to right and flying back and forth. Had my hand on the steering wheel when this happened and am lucky is still have all my fingers! Switched the lines then and worked like new. The fluid also bubbled a bit when they are reversed

Won't wreck anything just have hands clear and be ready to kill it upon start up and if wrong you'll know in 10 seconds. If its right it's right
