No ready rod threw the frame in the back. No frame shaping or seam welding past the first 18 inches of the frame.

i have notched two cars and the frame ripped.one completely off. so i really don't want to go that route again. as for dimple I'm all for it. was thinking not doing a tuck. instead i was thinking weld the trunk solid canoeing it 6 inches deep front to back and then a 5to6 inch dip3'wide in the fenders... thoughts what's everyone thoughts on the tow package steps? do you really think they help the humps? last year i kinked a hump and ran outta fix it plates in the front !!!!!! so i drove forward the rest of the show. how do you add photos on this sight??? thanks for all the opinions

I’d tuck it with a dimple, dishing it is decent but only with hump plates and when you can dish it deeper, 6in isn’t that much. Let her fold that one time after a few hits and it’ll be set

Just use 9 wire where the ready rod should be to help hold trunk down. I dont think the tow package top pipe does much. Be cool and get the galaxie from rusty and run old ford and smash buick rears with the rest of us lol
