I know everyone says pre 70 gms are junk but I picked up a 67 Catalina for cheap enough. I was just wondering if anyone has ran one and has pictures. It has a box frame up front so I figured it'd be alright to go have fun in

Build it. Won’t be too disappointed. Ran a 65 and 66 olds which are pretty much the same car.

That's good to hear. it will be getting built to a super stock class. Cage with 4 down tubes, seam weld firewall forward, replace all body mounts, hardnose front bumper. I know I wont stand a chance against what else will be out there but I figured it would accomplish what I want it to do. By the way, what would be a good front bumper to run. I'm assuming I dont want something too hard. We're allowed to make one out of square tubing but I'm afraid that would be too much for it

That’s way more then I could do. Sean welding will help it out obviously. This car had a fully loaded bumper on it and it held it fine. It bent in one place after 2 good runs. It only bent because I hit a concrete barrier going about 20... message me if you have any questions.

I've ran against one and it seemed to hold up good in semi stock.

Does the hole in the door go all the way to the seat I want to say it was pretty close to going all the way through. I have a 2x6 on end as my door bar, but not sure on the placement of it
