You sure it's an HD? I seen them go for roughly 1500-2500 around here. If 100 percent rust free.

How or what is the easiest way to find out if it is HD or not Grease zerks on the upper a-arm bolt or stamp on rear frame rail like stated...extra cooler up front if not stripped too. Also not sure but all the ones i've had come without rag/soft top...

He wants to straight up trade for this. This is not diamond frame but big show clean. all depends on what you want it for. If your looking to take it an 80's bone stock then it is worth it. If your going to an old and new show i'd keep the old iron. They have a purpose but any build to the rules then a 98+ or old iron are just as good if not better than the HD.

ADDED NOTE. I have seen guys try and stamp the frames to Make then an HD on the drivers side and then still says STD on the passenger rail. It will also have HD stamped on the back of the package tray in between the upper rear control arms.

Prostock style rules. Tilting, homemade bumpers, 4 extra body mounts, basic leaf conversion allowed, weld doors and trunk 3 on 3 off, no DP or trans brace. I love 98-02s but can’t find any cheap/clean ones.

Personally will always take old iron over metric if the rules are not heavily favored to metric
