What is the weakest points of the 73? I have found a couple of them. Run the 73. Front bumper and c channel rear frame.

Hardnose front an kink the c channel rail right rail back box (just link top of channel down). It will roll into a box an keep the quaters in tight an it will stay hard in rear. Mine gave at firewall both times never in front of a arms. They will bend there also but keep shots square an I haven't had one go a arms forward since.

73 without question. As 383 Sonoma said, change bumper and shocks and reweld the shock cups, personally I cut them loose and lower them on the frame OR put 74-76 cups on them. Rearend rolls with very little done to them.
