I’ve got an 81 olds custom cruiser that had the hydraulic powered master cylinder the power steering pump and everything are gone so I can’t get enough pressure for the brakes to work. Would a vacuum powered master work or is there another master that would crossover from another year to work? All help is appreciated. Thanks!

i have never seen or heard of Hydro powered master... I'm going to say that if you put a vacuum style on with all the parts it would work. Do you have a picture of it on firewall??

It’s called hydra boost I think.... but I take all that shit off and bolt a 60s era master cylinder to the firewall... am able to stop the car on a dime with disc fronts and drum rears

a vacuum booster from any GM era will work. You'll have to go another route as those power steering lines aren't easy to find and they are pricey.

can use any GM booster and mater cylinder old iron or new (old iron you may have to die grind the holes a little bit) and then for power steering this can be hit or miss if old iron lines work on the box otherwise get a PS pump and lines off a newer meteric gm.
