I have a 98 Bonneville with the 3800. I ran in a demo it got hot and went into limp mode even with a new coolant temp sensor tied up near the hood. Is there something else I'm missing to keep it from limping out? It has the stock wire harness. Any help for a rookie builder would be much appreciated. Thanks

i'm probable wrong, but I believe you need to bypass the temp sensor all together.

Is it still in limp mode or did it go away once it cooled down?
