On the 76 and older Caddys (limited weld and bone stock), Ive always cut the point of the hood off flush with the end of the fenders. Ive seen a few pics of other Caddys and it seems most leave the hood intact. Anyone run them full length and had any problems?

All we run is full length, less cuts the better and I think it looks better. No issues with them full length. On our 71 when we shortened it up, we cut the back of the hood so the point was still there when we shortened everything up

If it was my car I'd do it like my Mopar I just did fold it under an bolt it with that braces cut out the folded piece bolt it good to keep it out of the fan if it trys to flex or off rad neck.

I cant fold the hood on the show Im building this car for. Its either leave it factory or cut it off.

I run them full. I have 7" spacers raisng my core support and the nose of the hood gets tweeked down, works good. My issue with them things is the weight! Once my hoods on i tend to cut holes to work under it as prying the heavy beast off sucks

what about cut it off at the firewall and push it backward. Then you dont have to cut the front.

Or get an elderado hood and you have a foot to fold over the front. A rollback and forklift make folding it much easier. Otherwise if running a stock hood I just leave it stock
