I'm referring to the large #1945? carb. Seen on 360's and 400's with 2 barrel setup.
On a thread a long time back, there was talk of how to fix the idle circuit issue (seemingly like it's running on half the cyl's.)
Otherwise they work fine.
The fix required "smacking" the top ( or bowl ) with something straight.
What I don't remember is which piece, top or bottom needs flattened or straightened, and what to hit it with.
Seems like the top portion warps?
Anybody got a clue what I'm talking about?
