I'm in the process of building a 50's dodge pickup, and am going to use a dakota/durango chassis (97-03?) I'm likely going to use a 5.2 magnum with the factory fuel injection for simplicity (to me anyways) and efficiency, however, I've been kicking around the idea of pulling the small block out of the dakota, and use my 400 BBM. If I go the 400 route, I'm considering strengthening the chassis. If I do, does anyone know if you can "easily" put 3/4 axles under it? Dana 60 front and rear.

I my opinion you would be better off using a truck frame that had solid axles to start with. There's a lot of work in getting the IFS stuff out.
