I saw a couple builds series in another section on here, and thought it'd be cool if I do one on my suicide Lincoln. I'm building the car to what we call "prostock" rules around here. This is my first suicide (or fomoco product for that matter), although I have built several old iron cars over the years. I'm excited to see what the old car does... That's enough talk though, let's get to some pictures. I'll try to update this as I get work done to the car, but bare with me. I look forward to feedback and motivation from y'all!

Thanks for the support guys. This is the first derby car I've ever put aftermarket balljoints in lol. I just run small fair shows so they've never really been an issue. Knowing that the entire front suspension on these suicides are the weak link, I didn't want to take any chances! Shooting to have the car finished by mid june for a local fair, fingers crossed.

Those balljoints are extremely nice to have, you’ll be happy with them

Ya depending on which u get they are the same as the Chrysler’s, all the thread patterns are the same as far as I know but some are theoretically better than other, or atleast that’s what the description and price tag says but they all break eventually

Plate the rust. The uni body is the strength of that car. That's why more put c-ment in there bc it makes it hard an can't but seen with out drilling a hole

for sure repair the rust if rules let ya. rear b.o.p bumper brackets are the $hit welded to outside of frame to hang a front bumper.these rear bracket go darn near to shock/spring tower. you mention front brakes ? do not run fronts sooner or later they will get locked up/bent rim hitting. what motor you running ? Please go forward.lol I have seen so many guys use the rear and waste a good car. use a hard a$$ bumper on the nose. this mopar "v" only lasted 3 hard runs.

I've never ran one, but I think treating the assend like a metric gm would be a smart idea.. 1 good square shot to try and get it to roll uniform. Appreciate the build thread, wanting to get back into running motor swaps/lighter builds soon since the rules are making a big come back around here. A suicide and 58-64 fomoco are on the bucket list
