Can we get a product review thread stickied??? Brands of tools, chemicals, lubes, etc we all like or prefer to use when building derby cars. Seems every other day somebodys on here asking about some type of tool or product and everyones thoughts. Be nice to get it all in the same thread. Ill go first. I think these grinding wheel are badazz. Little spendy but last forever and make quick work of even welding beads

On the same subject as grinders, I recently got a pack of "Metabo" brand cut off wheels, and holy cow they put any other cutoff wheel to shame. I cut off all the brake mounting tabs on a set of GM spindles and not only did they cut quick, they barely lost any material.

I prefer Coors Banquet or Budweiser at home here in "The Great White North" or Bud Lite Platinum when I'm down south. When working on a derby car.

Wreckandrace Morse sawzall blades are trash. I prefer Milwaukee but will use DeWalt

After going to the Diablo carbide sawzall blades you'll throw rocks at any other blades

Wreckandrace Morse sawzall blades are trash. I prefer Milwaukee but will use DeWalt Not only do the Morse blades wear incredible fast, but many times the stamping of the blade isn't good and won't stay in a quick release sawzall. I'm not sure where all they sell them, but I made the mistake of buying the junk bastards at Menards.
