Any pointers for gaining front end height? I am allowed to cut and reweld the a arms but not sure I should cut and step them. I am getting ready to run it soon so trying to figure out what to do with it. I only have 21.5 inches to the top of the bumper at the moment.

Wrote you in other thread, but instead of cutting and stepping on shockers I have cut alot of the A Arms out to allow them to drop lower and get BJ closer to frame. Have gained 2" on a shocker by just removing material and it allowed more weld to frame.

Check out mustang 2 a arms. They got a big opening in them I thought they would work well on other fullsize and gain lot of height if we was to really cold bend the hell out of like a ford.
If you can't get height with them stock parts check out the y framers and shocker spindles and a arm. I know the 74 and 64 Mopar I had no problem with height. The frame dip on 64 made me wonder of putting shocks on top of frame to get height.

I can probably try that since they are pretty thick and then just plate over them some. As far as the mustang 2 stuff I'm kinda broke at the moment so gotta work with what I have at the moment LOL.

I think I am going to cut the a arms off and move the upper mount towards the outside of the frame rail to gain some height. Also swapping to a 7.00 15 tire. The tires I got are 28 inches tall and the ones that are on it are 25 inches tall. So that should help some.

How'd it turn out? What did you end up getting for bumper height?
