Kinda have a conundrum. I’ve poured over the Mopar posts, and I’m stuck as to what to do with my “trunk lid” all thread. People say to run it through the roof to the humps. Can’t do that in the show I’m running this car in. The rules specifically define the trunk lid of a wagon as the rear gate. So I would have to run it from the top of the gate door to the top-rear of the humps at best. I am allowed 2 chains over the humps and to weld the gate and doors solid with 3/8 filler rod. So my question for the guys who’ve run these, would that angle be detrimental? Would it do any good? Or would you just Cain it down tight and call it good?

I'd run 9 wire from the roof through the floor if you can't use all thread. Going through the tailgate to the hump I don't think would work very well. You could lay the tail gate flat on the floors of the rear of the car and bolt through the gate through the leaf perch mount.
