Couldn't make it this year. 1st time since 07 I believe. How's the car count and how are things doing? Low car count, only had 4 heats with 9 or 10 cars per heat. Watched it on Derby Tees Tv, First one Ive missed in 10 years and I'm glad I didn't make the 8 hr drive. Schutte, please come back and rescue this show before its too late

I was pretty dang disappointed I bought this derby on derby nation tv.... I feel like this stock build is killing metal mayhem, back in the mid 2000s they had more of limited weld build it seemed and those shows I thought were very good. Wish it would go back to that and not the stock love tap show many have become.

Na the pace has been terrible. Think these shows need to start paying more for mad dog than winning.

70s class reached the time limit, 9 winners lol 80s feature is dreadful I’m sorry but that mite be the most idiotic I’ve ever heard of a promotor doing at a big money show. I can understand first year woes and all that but god damn the drivers did him no favors with their over the top baggin. It’s suppose to be demo derby not bump n scratch cars. Come to think of it these guys prolly wouldn’t be any fun to watch in bumper cars either.

Watched shows since young kid and 41 now. Almost made the drive to this one. With all respect to the drivers and promoters and time and money involved, it is no longer fun for the crowd. Tappy Tappy hits here and there to make sure they bag to reach the end. Drivers truly hitting early ganged up on and taken out. Not exactly sure of a fix and time restraint is an idea or maybe enforce true 5 gal tank. Either way as respectful as I can be something has to change especially with ticket prices and other options people have to choose from. Not just this show as I watch as many as I can if I can not attend them. As sad it sounds getting a better show anymore back at the small fair shows where drivers are running more for pride than for than $. I know the investment into each car can be high but hope something is figured out before it dies out completely. Maybe that's the problem. So much money and time into builds, high payout and rules that make hard cars leads to all this. Hoping to see a change. Out west there doesn't seem to be as big an issue with bagging as around here but as a long time fan and fellow builder just of other style competitions, I hate to see it go away as we lose the edge on the shows and in the end the fans. Thanks for your time.
