To much work to get the quicker turning radius. Why not just out a quick steer on it an call it good. On a compact I've put a rack on them to make them turn like a road gater does an made it turn on a dime but fullsize I'd go spend money on quick steer. If you in weld class then shorten rear frame an put hump plates in an lose but 2 ft of the trunk. Just my opinion. I got better things to spend my time on.

Years ago there was a Buick or Cadillac out of Wyoming that was shortened in the middle....I can’t remember a lot about it other than it was pretty hard.

Dude in Southern IL has a 70s Caddy limo that was shortened down to a 2 door also.
Pretty sweet ride.

There should be plenty of videos of it at pleasant hill il. Then st.Charles county fair last year it ran. Should be a bowling Green MO show it got ran by another Missouri owner. I know at least two people in Missouri owned it. All should be on YouTube.

So on this same kinda deal, we were sitting around with beers the other night and got thinking. Putting a later 90s mustang body that i got laying around on a vic frame. Picked up a rusty frame for parts but just got to thinking about this post. Anyone seen or done it? would be a winter project to pay around with. would shorten the frame in the middle. just for some fun

It’s would be a really cool concept and really cool to see but I haven’t heard of anyone doing it.

Full frame wouldn’t matter, it’s all wheel base
