Volare is an F body, check out the thread on FMJ bodies. Aspens/volares are small to midsize cars, wouldn't be my first choice for a full size, full weld. lots of stuff here check out the wagons thread, small block mopar thread, the mopar suspension thread, mopar rear thread...

My bad guess phone copied wrong url. I fixed it.
I got a friend that that's his first choice of car for full size weld class. Said welding it in right places makes it a tank.

My advice would be to find a midsize class you can run it in. That's not a lot of car for any full size class imo. I got it for free is the only reason I have it but yeah I would grab a 65-68 Newport or New Yorker if I had a lot of choice for cars

I believe it it runs real good to but is there any way I could get pictures of where he’s welding it? Or could you tell me where I have a decent idea but just wondering cause this next derby I have a good chance of winning cause I’m showing up with 3 other cars that are buddies that are running with me

focus on rewelding sub frame to floor an firewall an frame seams thsee cars can hold their own. Use max length of bumper shock. Full weld class mean your running full engine cradle an tranny brace? Read through the link an it helps a lot too.

Read through the link an it helps a lot too. I can’t have an engine cradle or distributor cradle but I can add re bar between sub frame and fire wall and weld the piss out of it weld any and every seam and I can run and have tranny brace also buying a Edelbrock 600 com performer running my car in the middle of nowhere oregon our rules basically say no leaf over swaps engine cradles or any tire size over 30” I have a crazy cage inside and grader blades bolted over both front doors plates bolted through the humps ass sitting high and still welding everything I can find including fenders to front frame with angle iron what else can I do besides tortion bars in the front?
