Wanting some input. Looking at y framers. Going to a decent size derby. Unsure sedan or wagon. Allowed ●two inch in trunk/roof ●weld 5 on 5 off trunk\tailgate ●8 leafs per size ●Down tube on top of leaf mount ●Gas tank protector has to be 6inchs off floor an 2 inch off the package tray ●6 clamps on leafs ●flat stacked with solid mount or shackle ●can crease body ●can't push roof down to quater or floor

But why a wagon over sedan? Normally wagons are main targets in beginning.

Put that nose in the corner and let them have fun hitting a brick wall. The rear of those wagons with some hump work is way underestimated

humps are the key to the wagons. You might be ok with the flat stack but personally I have to be able to reinforce the humps directly before I am comfortable with the wagons.

Just curious what would be the difference between a 65 to 68 Newport or newyorker in ass as far as strength? to me it looks like same body style as far as body goes...Never ran one yet,so I'm all ears

I heard frames different in rear. Guess it's kinda like 73 has the extra front gusset an no other year does in front. Heard it's only 67 to have something extra in rear.
