Rules are what they are so build away. 10 team captains will decide derby details.

Captains are deciding things like fix it plates, b main, things of that nature...2 rules will be added. You may use threaded rod to hold rear springs in sedans with limitations and we will allow a bead lock on inner wheel side with size to be posted in rules. I cannot wait until August for a 10th team to finish rules though I have had alot of interest just no check...no check equals no team. What other rules are you concerned about that the captains need to agree on?

Guys building 03s or anything else for that matter...we are not reinventing the wheel here. Front steering will be front not changed to rear steer...front springs will be oem type only not aftermarket or configured in amy way to prevent spring bucket from collapsing. You can only tip a ford on a factory seam or by crossmember cold bend...cannot create a spot by altering the frame that doesn't have seams. The rules will be followed so do not let your team down and get loaded..same if you paint your frame I will use my grinder until I'm satisfied or will just load your car and save both of us the time...thanks

Since rumor is guys are making spindle, ball joint protectors etc...only protectors allowed are what is stated in the rules.Nothing additional since it plainly says no added steel to your ride..same with gas tank protectors. The specification is in the rules and if you are running a wagon they better not stretch past where the rear seat goes (I do have measurements or you will be completely be removing it, and that doesn't mean the 3rd seat either..also once again 03 and newer guys a reminder the cradle is to replace the aluminum cradle only and it allows for a place for your springs no larger than 98-02s in diameter so if you are busy creating a cupped cradle that protects every part imaginable it will not pass..4 bolts and it better drop out also..the more creative you are the more time and torch you are wasting. We are not reinventing the wheel here so if you are busy doing that stop and undo it now or at the track it may be to late..if we only have 4 teams past tech then that's what we will go with. THE TEAM THAT WINS WILL DO IT BY DRIVING NOT BY OVER BUILDING!!!

We are getting alot of interest in Sundays clean up classes..these are 100% payback and will except cars from other shows but nothing mod built. We will work with drivers to get their cars into compliance..the design of this class is to have fun and finish off your ride...thanks

Technically in the rules it says gas tank protector can touch the tin. The only tin in a wagon is the rear end humps. So it’s following the rules.

We will have repair plates for the cars...the captains choose how many if any the day of the show. I would bring the welder..Eric not sure I agree since when the seat is upright it doesn't touch the hump area on the wagon. Teams will be who they are the day of the show..how many pass remains to be seen.
