Dam I should of sat on mine for a week or so. It doesn't seem to be worth a shit at any of the others. The ones real local to me stay around $100-$120 year round it seems. These two are about a 30-40 minute drive for me, but it is worth it most of the time. I still got more trashed cars to go in to get space for next year's cars.

Anybody heard anything on scrap price? Some old boy told me it was up some, but I only believe him about as far as I could throw him.

Anybody have any new reports on scrap?
I took a load in this week and got $100 a ton. Not great but better than $60 a few months ago.

We dipped to 40 for awhile...back up to 70 It was rough around here also. Took a couple in last month for 40 a ton in Monroe, mi. I would have sat on them but had to clean up. When the leaves are down the suburbanites around here start getting worked up if they can see them. Uggg if I didn't love my place, schools, and being minutes from work I'd move to the middle of nowhere

When the leaves are down the suburbanites around here start getting worked up if they can see them. Uggg if I didn't love my place, schools, and being minutes from work I'd move to the middle of nowhere I've been far enough removed from society for long enough, that you couldn't pay me enough to live in a town. 15 miles from the nearest town, and 50 miles from the nearest Wal-Mart and wouldn't have it any other way. So until price get back up to where it's worth hauling, that couple hundred tons can just sit here. For me, 100/ton is the bare minimum, and even at that, I won't get in a big rush to move it.
