And all these parts are still attainable. They are pricey but cheaper than sliders. Well I have been trying to get one with a yoke for two years and no one has one. I can get you a cardigan joint or two. But they are not cheap. Imo they are to go to for a stock derby. Plus you need to control how your car is bending. No cars azz end should ever be 'skyhigh'. Now I understand it can happen from time to time but it shouldn't be normal. I'm not putting you down either, im just trying to stress the importance of a controlled bend to take the stress off the humps and eventually the driveshaft.

I am controlling the bend but it was pre bent before I got it. MOST stock shows here won't let you do anything but tuck your trunk so not a ton you can do to keep them from going sky high. I always dimple trunk floor tuck it and chain the humps. I am no where close to a rookie but I've had 4 cars of mine have the ass end go up and shucked a drive shaft in 11 years. This car has already bent that is why I am looking at different options.

Cut the frame past rear of springs on the bottom half way through.. Take a little leverage away.. Looks like the sheet metal is decent enought to keep it together.. jmo

Well hell. I'd still try or atleast move them forward. Unless you got really knowledgeable inspectors.

All I can say is it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.
