Paris can get a little rough in the trucks, I ran one 2 years and I'll tell you this, you will feel it the next day haha. Just build how you feel safe and have fun, I'm bringing something different this year , not a truck tho. If you want some tips or have questions feel free to pm me, always willing to help

Can we run a compact that has the strut springs replaced with pipe? As long as it doesn't reinforce the car we don't require bounce. Thanks for the question. Sorry for the delay. Can we get a little better explanation of this please? Cars don't require bounce, I get that so we can block the springs, struts, weld a stop on the shock or strut but how can you completely replace the strut assembly with something fabbed up from pipe and it not be considered a reinforcement? I have no problem doing it as well but would not have just shown up that way according to the rules stating "NO REINFORCEMENTS". Now under the compact section, it does say that we can use any rules from the mods that apply but even there is says that the stock springs must remain in car. Everyone wants to build as strong of a car allowed but also should be legal and to the rules. Just need some clarity please. Thanks.

Just to clarify, we will allow you to replace the springs with pipe but only to set bumper height. Pipe can't be welded. I know this will reinforce the strut some but not the same as welding it solid. Hope that clears it up. Thanks as always for your excellent questions. Thanks for keeping me honest:)

Not a problem Chad. Thanks for the clarification. Hey, you give us an inch and WE WILL TAKE A MILE. Then we'll tell everyone that you said we could do it. We might even use the old line "I don't know how that got that way, that's how I bought it"

For the 4th year in a row I'm sponsoring the Junked Award at the Route 1 Rumble on July 29th, 2017 (Edgar County Fair Demo Derby). As in the past I'm offering up $50 cash of my own money and an 8x10" photo to the driver with highest front bumper. This will be designated for the Old School stock full size class. I'll measure from the bottom center of the bumper. Bumper must stay attached to the shocks/frame rails. Good luck drivers.
