I'm new to the site and looking for specific information about the Nashville derbies listed for July 12 and 15 this year. My grandson is turning 10 in July and wants to attend a demolition derby for his birthday. All I can find listed are the dates and Nashville. Can someone tell me where these events will be held, starting time and any other information? Thank you. Laura Try here we-crash.proboards.com/board/25/southern-promoter-rules-schedules-tx

emotion aside, I would like to note that a good point was made about sharing results of experiments with others who are interested in the same experiment. Whether the sharing of information is done by professional scientists or by garage dudes playing with derby cars, the reader should always be careful how they interpret what they just read. SO, recognizing that there are impressionable readers who are not experienced in the realm of data interpretation, isolating variables for successful data generation, conventions for presentation of experimental results, etc. I think it is a valid point to make that the reader should be careful how they interpret opinions expressed on this website AND that it is OK to tastefully and tactfully offer criticisms of the accuracy of the data presented. If that process of continuous improvement is done well then both the presenter and the reader benefit from the exchange. I think most of us here are interested in sharing real ideas and real results of experiments both good and bad which, strange as it may seem, makes us no different than the operating philosophy of sophisticated scientific forums debating medicine or astrophysics. We have an idea, try it out, and tell others how it went. Both presenter and reader ultimately want to know if the results represent a positive change, and both should be interested in how the experiment was conducted to look for flaws in the process that could lead to erroneous conclusions. After all, neither sets out intending to adopt an operating method that is based on bad data, right?

I want this thread to be simple, but I would like people to chime in. If you can think of anything that may help new users navigate the site please drop those ideas below. Id like this to be sort of a "Read This First" Thread to help new guys. Welcome to WeCrash! WeCrash is a demolition derby information database where you find information relating to your vehicle, parts you may find or use, events in your area, and even a vendor section to get parts from. WeCrash was meant to be simple and more importantly organized with information. The current users do our best to keep things that way and we ask you do as well. If you have any questions we recommend doing a quick search pertaining to what is in question. If nothing can be found start a new thread in the appropriate section and the users will do their best to get it answered. Most questions you can think of have already been answered on here, please do not keep repeating questions. Your keys to success on this site are to read, be polite, and write in plain English. As long as you are respectful to those around you, you will find this site to be one of the most useful keys for information in the sport. Thank you for the welcome. Obviously I have figured out how to reply to other people. But How do I create a thread myself? Thanks
