I want this thread to be simple, but I would like people to chime in. If you can think of anything that may help new users navigate the site please drop those ideas below. Id like this to be sort of a "Read This First" Thread to help new guys.
Welcome to WeCrash!
WeCrash is a demolition derby information database where you find information relating to your vehicle, parts you may find or use, events in your area, and even a vendor section to get parts from.
WeCrash was meant to be simple and more importantly organized with information. The current users do our best to keep things that way and we ask you do as well. If you have any questions we recommend doing a quick search pertaining to what is in question. If nothing can be found start a new thread in the appropriate section and the users will do their best to get it answered. Most questions you can think of have already been answered on here, please do not keep repeating questions.
Your keys to success on this site are to read, be polite, and write in plain English. As long as you are respectful to those around you, you will find this site to be one of the most useful keys for information in the sport.

I have a 14 year old interested in getting involved in the sport. I know years ago there were youth events. Can anyone point me in the right direcction. I may not be posting this in the right forum area. We used to go to the track and there were cars there we could purchase to help fill out the field and participate in the event. Are they doing this anymore as well. We are in Fayetteville North Carolina. Point us in the right direction. We would like to join in the sport and have some fun.

Might try starting a new thread in the Sothern Promoter Section.... we-crash.proboards.com/board/25/southern-promoter-rules-schedules-tx . More people from your area will be looking there. I know there's no youth class within a couple hundred miles of me, but I'm probably around 1500 miles from you. Welcome aboard.

I haven't been a member terribly long, but I would say this gets followed maybe? 50% of the time. But it is asking an awful lot to be polite.

I'm new to the site and looking for specific information about the Nashville derbies listed for July 12 and 15 this year. My grandson is turning 10 in July and wants to attend a demolition derby for his birthday. All I can find listed are the dates and Nashville. Can someone tell me where these events will be held, starting time and any other information? Thank you. Laura

I have a 99 or 2000 Chevy Lumina with the 3.8. I use it as a bump n run car or otherwise known as an off road derby. Car runs awsm, except every time the car gets a good whack it will start running like crap for about 20 to 30 seconds before it comes back to life. It does have the stock tank in the stock location and plan on getting a fuel cell moved to the inside of the car. So my question is, is why does that happen and can I get an quick easy fix? I ask because guys don't touch their tanks and run great with no issues. I'm gonna start with adding more gas and changing the filter. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would ask in the compacts section. Sounds fuel related to me but it's just a guess.
