My car (ford focus Zetec 4cylinder) seems to be completely coated in fluids all over from when I originally first bought it) when you look under the car stuff is just covered ,in oil I assume, and is just dripping from all different places. I started it up and almost immediately started smoking like no other, looked at the motor and oils ways oozing out of the valve cover , my guess is it could be a bad gasket, but when I put it bad on I re-sealed it with the glue stuff to prevent it for leaking but it still does. The oils leaks out in the worst spot too, right above the exhaust pipe on the from of the motor it just drips down and smokes. Was hoping someone could help me out with what I should do put some sort of sealant on it or run it how it is, I don't want it to be a fire hazard cause my drivers safety is #1 to me (the car needs to be done in 2 days)
Thanks, Zach

Did you replace the valve cover gasket? No it cost like 40$ and wasn't gonna spend it on a bone stock that's gonna get wrecked, but i did take the manifold off and then just put it back on with the old one

you say your safety is #1 priority than why keep asking for a fix when the gasket is the fix

After you replace the gasket its not a bad idea to pressure wash or brake clean wash the engine off of all that oil residue. Not only is it flammable, it holds in allot of heat. Try not to pressure wash the electrical components excessively like the coil packs, sensors, distributor, etc. JMO
